The incredible progress in smartphone camera technology means I now shoot exclusively on a phone. The reasons are two-fold: firstly, it’s always with me so I can instantly react to the moment; secondly, modern phone lenses deliver extraordinary depth and clarity in a form factor just a few millimetres thick.
